How do you explain to sober-minded Dutchmen that the recent wars on the Balkans can be reduced to that all-embracing emotion 'passion'? On the outskirts of a city, a harmless game of soccer between two players (Egbert de Jong en Wilfried de Jong) degenerates into a gruesome battlefield. There is no referee and even the gods remain indifferent.
