Short black-and-white film about longing for true love. In an immense launderette, Joep (29) and Gonda (45) are waiting for their dreamed other half, who will make their lives truly meaningful.
‘I’m not pathetic, I’m just longing.’ Gonda (45) and Joep (29) are both hoping to find true love. They want to feel, experience and give love as an essential part of a meaningful life. But what you want from another person often says a lot about yourself. In this short, stylish black-and-white film, the two love-craving people meet in a launderette that looks immense, and where their endless waiting may be rewarded by this single real thing between birth and death.
