For all of her life, Paulien (Isa Hoes) has been full of unrestrained admiration for the Nijmegen-based popular singer René le Blanc. So it’s not surprising to find her in an eccentric living room trumpeting her idol’s praises. But apart from this she also struggles with her memories. In this debut, Yücel Kopal makes Paulien’s words take on an ever more obsessive and menacing character. Is she a superfan, or is there more going on?
