In this debut film, Roos (10) watches her father slowly change. He speaks less and less, stares at the pond for hours on end, and seems to withdraw further from the world around him. While no one can explain to her what's happening, Roos tries to make sense of his absence using her own imagination and childlike logic. As he drifts further and further away from her, she looks for a way to stay close to him regardless.
