Actor Ilke Paddenburg makes her directing debut with this short film about a female nude. During its transportation to an exhibition, it falls prey to the churlish, masculine outside world.
A large, painted female nude is transported from the studio to a museum of modern art. There, it will be exhibited at the Women in Art exhibition. We follow the nude on her journey through the outside world with all its banalities and noise. Men leer at the portrait, but who really sees her? The film is a playful metaphor of how the patriarchy still pervades society– in a handful of brief moments on an ordinary day.
