In this animated film noir, as the opening credits call the film, a man wearing spectacles gets a lift in a red car. But the road ends in nothingness; a headlong drop is the result. Everything moves during the ill-fated fall - in pictures that are sketched in bold strokes - even the pupil of the driver who offered the ride. The trumpet-filled music is performed by the De Volharding orchestra.
