In the youth series De Freek tapes, Freek Vonk comes across a box of old video tapes in the attic. It turns out they are his first short nature films, which he used to shoot with his childhood friends Maysem and Bas. Whether it’s a tiger or a heron, back then young Freek (Junte te Winkel) already described everything as if he was on an adventurous safari. Exploring, he carefully studies the animals, while he and his friends discover they can learn a lot from the animal realm. About nature, but also about themselves.
