Tuschinski Award-winning graduation film by director Joram Lürsen is a Dutch melodrama about the not so fortunate career of Abe, who taught his pal Marco van Basten to play soccer as a boy. Abe's unemployed father desperately wants his son to become a famous soccer player. One day, Abe is invited to come and play a test match for Ajax.
