Melancholy and romantic comedy about the young and successful violinist Sacha and Caspar and Maarten who deliberately live on the fringes of society. Each of them is individually looking for the three best things in life. Sacha travels by train from Paris to Amsterdam to visit her fiancé, and returns three days later, robbed of many illusions, yet chastened. Jack Wouterse is the antique dealer Maarten, who has extraordinary knowledge and calls himself not special but 'different'.
