Documentary about dancer Patrice Kennedy who tells about the death of her suddenly deceased love and the intensive journey she made to cope with it. The backdrop and starting point of the story is the blooming orchard adjacent to the house where Kennedy lives with her family. She once read in the Tibetan Book of the Dead about the necessary preparations to make when death approaches. But Kennedy, like many other people, had never made them. She tells how she realises she is now making up for that. Director Kees Hin alternates the interviews with Kennedy and her three children with dance, music, stories and friends that together formed the creative guideline that enabled her to escape from her underworld. An underworld where she claims she resided for four years. At Kennedy's request, the director made an impression of this odyssey.
