Documentary filmmaker Gerrard Verhage interviewed five communists and ex-communists, whose lives were determined by the communist pursuit. Aged now, Henk Gortzak, Jans Gortzak, Piet Laros, Gerard Maas and Nel Visch look back. With four of them, Verhage visited Felix Meritis, for many years the CPN headquarters. Taking stock is taxing and not without tragedy for them.
