This Dutch-Belgian co-production is an imaginative film in which the life of the shy girl Sophia changes entirely when a gypsy lends her an enchanted ball. It can bounce, but also whistles like a bird and can make things fly. Sophia gets increasingly popular thanks to the ball. When her classmate Romeo falls in love with her, the balls gets jealous and also turns out to have a malevolent side.
