Onno can't say no to anyone. When he meets domineering Pien, a manipulative relationship follows, in which Onno gradually loses his voice. A short, comic film about agency and control.
Onno always says yes — to strangers, to friends, and certainly to his new girlfriend, the overbearing Pien. Ever since meeting Pien, Onno has increasingly faded into the background of his own life. Pien decides everything: what he wears, where they live, and that they're getting married. Slowly, Onno surrenders to Pien's choices, until they're standing at the altar. Will Onno manage to choose for himself? This short, comic graduation film, Pickleman, paints the portrait of a yes-man slowly losing himself.
