De andere kant van de afsluitdijk

Thijs (17) moves to the farm of his estranged grandfather Rients in Friesland following his mother's death. Their forced cohabitation gets off to a rocky start, with little to say to one another. But despite the heavy silence, the memory of Thijs' mother is ever-present. Thijs and his grandfather gradually come to realise that the great loss keeping them apart may also be the key to bringing them closer together.
