Psychological thriller in which an 18-year-old boy meets a mermaid for the first time. Since his father taught him these creatures are bloodthirsty, this puts their father-son relationship under high pressure.
Peer (18) and his father Ivo are the last people on earth. They lead an isolated life in the woods, hiding from bloodthirsty mermaids. When Peer against Ivo’s orders sets out exploring, he sees one of these mermaids for the first time of his life. Peer flees back home, but cannot resist revisiting her. In this graduation film, cracks gradually appear in the father-son relationship, because now Peer starts questioning all acquired doom stories. Psychological thriller with a surrealist touch.
