Not the text, but the postures and looks of people riding on the 54 metro tell this story about a recognisable moment of doubt. The woman who takes the subway line to Gein, Amsterdam with her friend finds herself in a moral dilemma when a frightened girl, travelling with an older man, fastens her eyes on her. Should or shouldn't she interfere? A quick decision is required, because before she knows it the eternally accelerating metro has closed its doors again.
