In her small Frisian village, the adopted Kaylee (12) is the only girl with frizzy hair and she has no idea how to maintain it. She and her mother decide to go and look for help.

Twelve-year-old Kaylee, born in Lesotho, was adopted at three and ended up in a small village in Friesland. She is the only girl in school with frizzy hair and she hates it. Kaylee and her mother have no idea how to maintain frizzy hair and they have nobody around them who can give them sound advice. Her hair gets entangled time and again. Kaylee is fed up with being the one with the troublesome hair. She and her mother decide to go and look for someone who can help her.
