From the darkness, an army rises from the dead in this animation, accompanied by muses and the blare of their war trumpets. In this apocalyptic nightmare of war and destruction, the music propels us forward into a violent maelstrom of terror, devastation and human suffering. The Allegro from Dmitri Shostakovich's 10th Symphony has rarely sounded more menacing or violent. Made using a mix of techniques, including oil painting.
