Adventure film. An aviator, Kees Brusse, runs the one-man business Dakota Airlines on Curacao Island. The old, yellow-white Dakota is his great passion. To keep it operational, he is not too choosy about the cargo he accepts. When a contraband flight in the Caribbean goes wrong, he has to flee the country. In 33 hours, he flies non-stop to the Netherlands, a feat of strength visualised in a twenty-minute scene, without dialogue.
