Poignant, realistic mosaic drama interlaces the universal feelings of love, fear, hope and loss of various characters during an equally tense and dramatic two-hour passage from Morocco to Spain. Featuring Hadewych Minis and Gijs Naber.
Returning home from their vacation, Iris, Walter and their sons take the ferry from Morocco. On their passage to Spain, they are confronted with marital secrets. The ship’s captain, meanwhile, is hiding his pregnant daughter and his wife in his cabin, ashamed of a bastard child. In the Spanish port, paramedics find the body of a young man; for both Iris and Walter, this is the emotional straw that breaks the camel’s back. When the boat is moored, all characters in this poignant mosaic drama are confronted with the consequences of their actions.
