Short cinematic adaptation of the performance Ölelés, in which two gentlemen, old friends, dance and duel, unarmed. Their virtuoso tug-of-war reveals a whole gamut of emotions.
Short cinematic adaptation of the performance Ölelés by Jordi Cortés Molina and Damián Muñoz, inspired by the novel Embers by Sándor Márai (1942). Two gentlemen, old friends, meet each other in an imposing, very remote building. Dancing, they duel, unarmed. A tug-of-war that, alternately subdued and passionate, reflects the emotions between the two opposites. With a keen eye to rhythm and mise-en-scène.
