Short silent documentary about the Dutch cheese industry. Farmers and their wives in authentic traditional costumes produce the famous small round cheeses. Every week no less than 600,000 are sold at the cheese market in Alkmaar. Some of them them find their way to the harbours and are shipped abroad.
