Poetic film story that uses picture collages to tell the intriguing history of a small, metaphorical town where the streets have been named after poets. A war and a revolution lead to drastic changes and confusion among its inhabitants.
Personal archive footage and photographs depict the history of a metaphorical town with streets that all bear poets’ names. The psychogeography of this town defines the mental and emotional condition of its inhabitants: they live in a utopian, poetry-based illusion. When the system changes, war erupts and refugees come flocking in, new neighbourhoods arise. Existing street names are replaced. Abrupt and radical transformations lead to confusion among the citizens, who get lost amid memories of forgotten poets.
