City Apt Mom

Director: Peter Westenberg
Labelled an 'interior road movie', this film shows a middle-aged woman who diligently tries to keep control over her apartment in the centre of a big city by tidying it time and again. However, her stuff leads its own life and the outside world also creeps into her house through the view. The image does not flow on continuously, but has been edited with a lot of transitional black. The accompanying piano music strengthens the idea of a silent movie.
