On the occasion of the centenary of cinema, Christian Janicot compiled the book Anthologie du Cinéma Invisible, which includes hundreds of film projects that were never realised. Kees Hin and K. Schippers selected ten scripts from the book and put together a film fragment for each project. Sometimes they adapted a fragment from the script and sometimes they opted for archive footage, photographs or a documentary approach to convey the intention of the script. Examples of scripts are those by Alfred Döblin, Getrude Stein, Fernand Léger, Yves Klein and Osip Mandelstam. The thread through this variegated, fascinating anthology is a dancing ball of paper and the female voice-over that links the fragments and transitions. She is visible, too, as not a single film moment or style is left unused.
