A young girl hops across a living room where a middle-aged woman sits at a table and watches photographs from the past. Past and present blend together when people that the voice-over talks about - a deceased grandfather, former friends - briefly appear in the room and disappear again. All this is depicted aesthetically and breathes the atmosphere of Proust's In Search of Lost Time.
