Celluloid Blues is a lightfooted comedy in which a conservative film critic for a daily paper is carpeted by his new editor: he has to rejuvenate his style quickly and radically, otherwise he will lose his film page and his job. The next day gets completely out of control. In his desperate attempts to hold onto his job, the veteran ends up on the set of a film made by a young film crew, in the hotel room of a porn actress and on the floor in a garage.
