Cave Play

In this enigmatic debut film, director Simon Becks explores how the certainty of an approaching end can drag someone into dark obsessions. Hamara (Hadewych Minis) learns she will soon die. Instead of seeking comfort from the living, she feels irresistibly drawn to the depths of an abandoned cave, as if drawn by a magnetic force. To reassure herself, she delves into the ways people disappear, as if trying to gain control over her own fate. But while Francys (Abke Haring) still tries to keep her friend close, she discovers what it is that draws Hamara so irresistibly.
