Amir dreams of an acting career. But due to various mishaps, he ends up in a world he only knows from the roles he does not want to play anymore.
Amir can fully envision it: a successful life as an actor. With good reason, because recently his career is flourishing owing to a regular role in the TV show Meld Misdaad (Report Crime). The only problem is: on the show, Amir’s face is always shown blurred, which is disastrous for his reputation. After handing in his resignation in a fit of temper, he leaves for Brussels. His goal is to secure a big audition, but Amir inadvertently slips into the local underworld, which he really only knows from his TV roles.
