A brave girl and her clever little robot return from the year 2050 to save the world from an eco-catastrophe. Urgent issue, wrapped in a thrilling and hopeful time travel adventure film for young and old.
This first Dutch science-fiction family film gives viewers food for thought concerning the current climate crisis, in both an exciting and hopeful way. In 2050 AD, the earth is so depleted that fighter pilot Nova is assigned to travel back in time to avert a disastrous eco-catastrophe. But nobody takes into account that time travel has a side effect: Nova becomes young again and collapses to the ground as a twelve-year old. Because she looks like a young girl, no adult takes her seriously. With the help of a new, young friend and a smart little robot, Nova pulls out all stops to yet save the world.
