In a dreary fishing village where romantic relationships are few and far between, two inhabitants are struck by lightning like a bolt from the blue. Their interpretation that it wasn’t a flash of lightning but love arouses a desire in the other villagers. This debut film follows Una, one of the residents. In her case, it kindles her passion for Zazie, an employee of the local electronics store. They immediately realise they are meant for each other. But the longer the thunderbolt fails to occur, the bigger Una’s doubts become.
