Experimental film with an intriguing collection of images of fine artist and painter Edward Luyken, at home and at work. Featuring sculptures and photo collages, disc cutters and a glider plane.
In evening light, a man intently paddles around a spit of land and goes ashore. At a sturdy pace, this is followed by a motley mix of images of fine artist and painter Edward Luyken from past and present, at work and in the family circle. Featuring sculptures and photo collages, disc cutters in formation and as part of a strange installation, the dismantling of a glider plane and objects in the sand. A cutting reads ‘Trapped.’ Accompanied by serene minimal music.
