Belgium, 1985. George, a genial stallholder and born salesman, gets the chance to rent a bar at a top-rate location. Café Derby is next to the terrain where the pope will be giving an outdoor holy ceremony. He can already hear the ring of the cash register in his head. His wife, five children and colleagues also believe in it: George can sell everything to everyone. So why does it go wrong? Tragicomic, beautifully dressed coming-of-age drama that first-time director Lenny Van Wesemael based on the true story of her own family.
