Personal, experimental film about a mother's worries when her daughter makes a distant journey. A poetic mixture of a travelogue and an intimate home-movie.
'My soul has never been torn so badly as when Roos started travelling.' With this statement by her mother, director Roos Geevers introduces a personal and experimental short film. Travel images of Buddhist prayer wheels and crowded Asian streets are alternated with childhood films in negative. The tempo is meditative, sustained by the sound of reciting monks.
