A fire in a cellar compartment shakes all the residents’ daily lives. In this multicultural neighbourhood, child welfare knocks at the door of a mother whose libiis a chaos. A refugee dreams of having his own call center and a group of children find a ‘gruntload’ of marbles in the gutted cellar boxes. Furthermore, an aged resident wants to catch his nemesis – an n2o king – doing a shady deal, and a policeman on the beat one day hopes to be a real Dutch police hero. Eight residents are closely followed in this comedy series.
