Brada's

Director: Quincy Carrilho
Due to their unstable home situation, 16-year-old Jayden takes care of his younger brother Keano. Until child welfare threatens to separate them. Then, we see how strong their bond is.
“All’s well at home.” Jayden (16) doesn’t feel like telling the social worker more than that. He and his little brother Keano (12) try to survive in an environment where safety is not self-evident. While their mother is emotionally absent and domestic tensions mount, Jayden feels obliged to protect his young sibling. In intimate, raw scenes, we see how Jayden vies for control, while Keano slowly starts to understand how vulnerable their existence is. A sensitive and thought-provoking film about brotherly love, loyalty and the power of hope in a dead-end situation.
