Quimica is Spanish for chemistry. This is what the dancers in this cheerful, summery music video visualise, like molecules forming unexpected connections with each other.
In this chirpy music video for the Columbian group Bomba Estéreo, besides singer Li Saumet, eight girls appear, ingeniously dancing in a gym and wearing tennis skirts that are blown up on a lawn in front of a house that is painted purple. According to director Femke Huurdeman, the choreography visualises the way molecules interact: one time connected, another time apart, pulling each other and together forming something new and magical.
