What is on the minds of three young people who experience psychoses? Amid all the confusion, they look for the meaning of their mania, each in her or his own way.
Jerry, Joyce and Chester contend with psychoses. This inspired Jerry to go and look for his father and now he is writing a book. Joyce refuses to believe it is just a plain disease. She experiences spirituality; a taboo concept at the clinic. To Chester, they are mainly living nightmares. Do their experiences have a certain significance? Is there a positive perspective? Candid and differentiated portraits, through which Ingrid Kamerling (In het hoofd van mijn zusje) not only shows the confusion, but also why these three people want to see a different approach to psychosis sensitivity.
