Director: Sara Kolster, Perla Joy
What if your father murders your mother? And what does that do to your identity when you are the child of both the perpetrator and the victim? Four women each lost their mother, their father and their safe home, all in a single day.
Maeve (59), Roser (47) and sisters Perla (33) and Aurora (35) lost their mothers to femicide as children. Their father was the perpetrator. In a large, empty space, they share their experiences: about that one day, about how it could happen, and its impact afterwards. In this documentary, the four women use tape to reconstruct the outline of their childhood home. Like it was before it became a crime scene, as if it were a blueprint of their youth.
