It has been completed. But why is a writer so reluctant to tell more about his latest novel at a dinner with friends? A mysterious visitor lifts this simple story to another level.
Novelist Polo Neveling organises a dinner for close friends to celebrate the completion of his latest book. He is surprised when his first guest arrives much earlier than planned. "My visit is rarely convenient, usually too early", he says. Neveling quickly steers him to the kitchen, where he keeps him hidden. When dinner has started, the author’s daughter seems to be the only one to notice that her father’s thoughts wander off. It becomes clear he has another reason for this dinner. The evening will take a touching twist.
