In short film, a 9-year-old boy finds out the power has been cut off, because his mother can’t pay the electricity bill. Bravely, he tries to find a solution.
In mid-summer 2006, Sven (9) experiences a strange morning. The shower remains cold, lights stay out and the fridge is leaking. The power has been cut off. In this short drama, this situation causes a problem for Sven, because for this particular evening he has invited his friends to watch the soccer match Netherlands vs Ivory Coast. Unfortunately, the party has to be cancelled, because his mother can’t pay the electricity bill. The nine-year old decides to go and find alternative solutions.
