In this youth drama, fourteen-year-old Zeki has moved with his father from Rotterdam to agated community in Istanbul. Feeling captive in the guarded enclosed quarter, he leaves it to explore the world outside the wall.
FreerunnerZeki (14) feels locked in in agated community in Istanbul, where he moved from Rotterdam with his father. Zeki’s mother recently died and the teenager is struggling with his severe loss. During the lonely summer vacation, Zeki seeks freedom outside the community walls, where he ends up in a poor neighbourhood and is accepted by a group of street kids making money by picking pockets. In this youth drama, he has to bend over backwards to keep these two totally different lives separate.
