Bachir lives in a refugee camp in the Algerian Sahara. Then, he wins the lottery: a holiday with a host family in Barcelona. Will his wish to swim in the sea be granted?
What will the sea look like in real life, what will it smell and feel like when you float on it? For the ten-year-old Bachir, the sea is a big mystery, because he only knows sand, lots of sand. The stateless and undocumented Bachir gets the chance to go on summer camp. All the way to Spain, where everything is different and new: vertiginous tall brick buildings, staircases that move spontaneously, even running water.
