In her urban flat, new mother Umi tries to combine her new life with the chaos around her. As everyone has an opinion, she searches for the space to find her own voice again.
Umi, a singer-songwriter, has just become a mother. In her urban flat, she tries to get the hang of life as a mum. But this is disrupted by chaos: noise from her upstairs neighbour, hustle and bustle, and unsolicited advice. Amid pumping, nappies and other people's expectations, Umi briefly loses herself. Slowly, she seeks the space to reconnect with her own feelings. With her ukulele, she begins turning her emotions into music and finds her own voice again.
