To call attention to the climate crisis, 12-year-old Nora plans to throw tomato soup over a 19th century painting. After talking to the long-deceased artist who made the painting, doubt strikes.
In this debut, young Nora plans a protest action to call attention to the climate crisis: she intends to throw tomato soup over a 19th century painting from the Hague School. While Nora practices opening soup cans as fast as possible at home, she starts wondering about the story behind the artwork. The next morning, Matthijs Otten, the maker of the painting, sits at her desk. Accompanied by her new-found, imaginary friend, she sets out for the museum. Walking through the dunes, Nora explains her plan. To her amazement, Matthijs sympathises with her action.
