After carnival, everyday reality is waiting. Forty-year-old Marcel wants to postpone this a little longer on the last carnival night in Maastricht, in this wistful short film.
At the end of the last carnival night in Maastricht, forty-year-old Marcel finds himself in an almost empty night bus. When he sees a bus across the street that is filled with merrymakers, on the spur of the moment he decides te get on. During the ride that follows, Marcel acts as a peacemaker and a good listener. The next morning, Marcel is confronted again with the everyday reality, all make-up removed, that he desperately tried to postpone.
