Ascent from Akeron

Interactive web comic in which rebellious kids discover the true nature of their dark world in the distant future. The group decides to fight back.

Ascent from Akeron is an online comic, with animation, 3D effects and a soundtrack, the story being told in a prologue and four episodes, all to be read and experienced in a web browser. Main theme is the human capacity to rise up against oppression. With this interactivemotion comic, writer William Maher wants to show how our world can transform into a frightening, yet realistic future, asking the key question: Do we still see light at the end of the tunnel when we live on a desert island without daylight?
