In this personal, experimental essay film, Jordi Wijnalda searches for the vulnerability of queer love. Because queer bodies attract, fall in love and waver and perish. Are these bodies more vulnerable, and so are their loves too?
Finding love isn't just something; it’s like an ocean enveloping you – you are swept away by it. Which is why filmmaker Jordi Wijnalda does something similar in this short poetic video letter, looking for the meaning of queer love. A Catalans voice-over tells about finding love and losing it, while Wijnalda chaperons the viewer with fragments from app conversations, nature recordings and casually shot home videos. The film works up to a loving tribute to all those who said goodbye, before making memories together.
