Comic drama in which three half-sisters, facing their mother’s imminent end, wonder where they are in life. What is left of their ties? And what about their brother with autism?
Mies (73) has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She gathers her three daughters by different fathers to discuss her forthcoming end. This seems to be a fitting moment to reflect on where they are in their lives. April is getting a divorce and sees her career as an American soap star crumble; mother hen May only has eyes for her problem children, and single June refuses to grow up. Family issues also pop up in this comic drama. What is left of their ties? And what about Jan, their little brother with autism?
