Cinematographic voyage of discovery through Amstelland, a landscape just outside Amsterdam. The documentary shows what landscape can mean in a densely-populated area such as the Dutch Randstad by providing a cinematographic representation of human perception of the surroundings. Amstelland - Visie op een landschap (Amstelland - Vision on a Landscape) is the first in a series of short documentaries about perception and place.
